My Rising Star

Sketchy Thursdays is an awesome Sketch challenge blog. Even though I do not always have time to play there, I HAD to be part of their GDT challenge. The challenge was to include the color yellow in the layout made using their sketch, and to add a hand made embellishment. This is the sketch they posted:

My son is notorious for two things: for throwing things to the floor just to say "Oh Oh!', and for playing Peek a Boo. When I saw the pictures my husband was able to capture I could not resist but to scrap them and call him "Momma's Peek A Boy".

I cut the star out of chipboard and used Glossy Accents and Alcohol Inks to give it its color and texture. All of the patterned paper is from Momenta, an AMAZING and versatile scrapbooking company.
