I know that it has been a while since I come around here, and to be honest, I really missed it. I love being able to come here and just talk... just share transparently what is and what is not. :) So, I want to start sharing with you the different projects I had been working on.
For the month of November I am going to be teaching a lot more than I have ever done since the store was re-opened, and I am a bit nervous. I spent hours second guessing my every move as I created the class projects until I realized that ultimately I do ALL things for the Lord, and that I already have His approval. So, here is what I came up with:
Happy Day: Glimmer Mist Technique LO (with hidden mini-album)
Mini Book of Me: Circle Explosion Album (with Distress Inks technique)
Christmas Cards: (Paper Piecing)
Explore Tag Album: (just a fun album to make)
Thanksgiving LO: Learning how to use the Distress Stickles
I truly had a blast creating these and I am sure that I will have even more fun once I teach them. There is just something about seeing the light bulb turn on in other people's creative minds... I love it!
I have also been a bit overwhelmed with the many things I have going on, but it has slowly (but surely) led me back to my first love: JESUS. I was telling Freddy the other day that there is a great danger about KNOWING God mentally vs. KNOWING Him in your heart. As I look at the people that surround me, I often times wonder if they have come to a place of complete and utter emptiness and depravity, that they finally understood that they NEED Christ! I am more convinced now than ever, than unless you get to a place where you REALIZE you NEED Him, your relationship with HIM will only be one of convenience and out of the common sense. Once you realize that you NEED Him, you will take hold of Him and you will surrender to the only One who will never give up!
May I ask you, where are you?
Love in Christ,
Nana

Hi Nana, What a beautiful post about God. The layouts are great and I hope you sell out. I really like that Travel mini. It's too cute.
